Yeahhh
They kinda can read your messages online
I had to learn this the hard way.
When I kept texting people and people about issues and stuff
My parents found out everything
And I delete every message that I get or send of it's bad
They had a printout of my recent text messages and then I realized my cellphone was not safe anymore.
Same things with my facebook and instant messaging.
If your parents are like mine. Then you should start censoring your messages!

Positively, absolutely.NOT!

They can however see what numbers you are txting too or receiving from. and when(Time) you are sending and getting them.

We caught our boys txting their girlfriends at 1:00am during the school week and put the end to that.

ok so your parents cant do that?!?! i have the verizon chocolate! and my parents are very over protective of me and will do anything to catch me in the act! so is there a way they can log in on the website and pull up your record and read them!? i really need to know. can anyone give me a definite answer?

Katie, my suggestion is first, do not do things you know you shouldn't be doing. It is not good for you in numerous ways. There is not way to "catch you" without you being in the act. Your parents are protective of you because they know they need to be. Your question pretty much points that fact out.

With that said, call *611 and ask Verizon directly. Don't ask people to speculate for you when they likely do not know the answer themselves. Good grief. Do your own homework. Ask the source. You have a phone. Use it.

People that work for VZW post on here already, and have given accurate answers to this question numerous times. Nobody really believes the answers anyhow. It's more fun to watch the other posts:

"Yes parents know all and see all beware. "

is my favorite.

yes they can check your texts, anythings possible if u have the knowledge. but its time consuming and a pain. if u figured out there verizon username and pass, u could delete them yourself online. but i think its just easier if u delete them on ur phone, and use slang.

I'm ROTFL! Thanks for giving us parents ideas on what we need to look for by posting such questions on the web. Also, I hope for you posters' sake that your parents aren't monitoring your web activity, which as you probably DO know is very easy to do. If so- you are BUSTED! icon_smile.gif Good luck with all of your undercover activities, but as several as the other posters suggested, there are probably very good reasons for the rules your parents have in place. Maybe you should ask them why they have those silly rules if you don't agree with them instead of trying to break them rules and risking putting yourselves in harms way <I can hear the groaning>
