My contract with Alltel expires in a month or two, so I have been checking out the latest phones to see which one I want to get with the new contract I will be signing. I think I am going to be getting the LG Glimmer (AX830), but before I do, I wanted to get some kind of review on the phone. I am looking to get the low-down on everything good and bad about the phone.

One thing Id like to know: I am getting the USB cable monday, so once I hook my phone up to my computer, am I going to be able to transfer songs to the phone's memory? Is the LG capable of using Mp3s as ringtones?

Okay. I have the USB cable now, but every time I plug it in, my phone says "Powering Down. Please Recharge". Windows also says, when the phone is plugged in, "USB Device not recognized"
