well its in the messaging section. and it says IMs. when i select it, theres a login, saved convo, and connection setting. when i click connection setting, is says no settings found.
and yes it was already there when i purchased the phone.
i tried to go into the configuration under setting and add a setting for the IM but i dont know the info. when i select to add a config setting for instant messaging, it asks for server address, user id, password, and access point settings. so.i dont know
this is my first time owning an unlocked phone, so im sorry for any confusion.

the only thing I can think to out into there user the server addresses for t-mobile. the problem with unlocked phones is that instant messaging is very hard to set up. have you looked in the n73 manual to are if it says anything about what it needs?

my best guess is that it wants the t-mobile server addresses. try putting internet2.t-mobile.com in and if that doesn't work try wap.voicestream.com. you will need a data plan to access those server addresses
