Hi everyone:
I'm new to this one, so bear with me. I have a Razr V3 phone and it came with an USB cable, which I assumed would be the way to hook it up to PC and sync it pretty much the same way as iPhone, but when I plug it into my Windows XP it doesn't show any messages that a new hardware was found, or anything. What am I not doing right?
PS. I needed this option mostly to download/upload pictures/screen savers and ringtones.

You need the Motorola Phone tools software which is available for purchase online or through other ways.

OK, I got MPT v.4.5.1c "through other ways" but my PC still doesn't see my phone. I installed everything like the installer told me to, then it said "Connect your phone to a PC", which I did using a USB port on the end to PC and mini-USB on the cell phone end (which interestingly enough goes into the same jack as a battery charger?), but the MPT installer didn't find anything and after some time popped up a message to try a different USB port. I did. still nothing. I also tried it on another PC also running Windows XP with no success.
Did anyone here have some success connecting Razr V3 to a PC?
