My parents got detailed billing when they bought me my phone and plan the other day with cingular I'm 18 years old, but they are very strict and don't know that I am engaged. They know I have a boyfriend, but thats it. I send him text messages all the time. I was reading past posts, but some are saying yes to my question and some are saying know so I thought I would ask myself. Do the text messages show up? I don't care if numbers and dates/times show up. I'm just not ready to tell them I am engaged and yet I've heard that if you have detailed billing it shows the actual text and what it said and everything. Is this true? I'm having anxiety attacks and am freaking out so please help.

No, the content of the text message will not show up on the bill. it is against the law.

Are you sure even if it's the detailed billing and it like the ones thats as much as 200 pages or more? I'm scared cause my parents will flip and the bill is coming like he 28th I think or something.

They don't transcribe the calls, they don't put in the texts. They just list every single call you make, and every single text you receive or send. What I mean by that is every person you called or texted. If you are concerned with your parents finding out who you are engaged to, maybe you shouldn't be engaged to that person.

K thank you and the reason they will get mad is because they think I'm to young to be in a commited relationship, but I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years now he's 20. We don't planned getting married though till I'm 20 and he's 22, but my parents are just weird even though they love my boyfriend. It's a hard family thing to explain, but thank you so much.
