I activated a new line on the same account two different plans
1 is a 1000 minute
2 is a 5000 minute
There was no deposit due at all then I have been charged the deposit and put on collection for it!
WHEN I OPENED THE ACCOUNT I HAD 0 BALANCE!
BETWEEN 1-2 WEEKS INTO THE SERVICE THE COMBINED SERVICE
GET A PHONE CALL TO PAY $197.34
I did pay $200.00
One week goes buy and get disconnected with a past due bill of $290 and change that is what raised my flag.
Customer service realize that I had been charged the deposit what I never should have. Try to correct it they put a second deposit on now we are looking at a $1000.00 deposit they have credited only $500.00 back!
several customer care personnel see the problem first they said it is corrected no worries couple days later got disconnected again now the past due bill is $300 and change they confirmed the same that previously find that never credited the full deposit promise me that collections are on hold. Got disconnected 3 more times along the way!
The $35.00 for opening a new line no big deal I give bigger tips in the restaurant and I did agree to that.
Then they charge me for my phone number that I had since 2005 it goes on and on and on tell me where what is your confusion ill do my best to explain. I did catch up on my bills after this scenario just to make sure.
I am in corporate financing so I hope I can ad 2 and 2 together!

My problem is how come since 05 to beginning of 2008 no problem at all I open an additional line everything goes screwed up!
Then not being able to rely on my cell phone that I am paying for what is up with that?

My experience with T=Mobile has been much better. I had an old contract with very limited minutes for 19.99 a month. I traded up for Samsung Katalyst and TMobile@Home for 10 bucks a month. By disconnecting from SBC ATT i more than paid for upgrade. I did but 3 panasonic 6.0 cell phones and now I am happy and so is my wife.

The best bonus is besides the 5 My Faves whenever I am at home the minutes are on wifi and don't count. Also with WiFi I have 5 bars instead of 2 or 3.
