Alright, so my Canadian friend and I have been texting a lot lately. Next to each of her messages is a little red exclamation point (!) and when I open the message * High * is written at the top. From what I've gathered this means it's a High Priority text message, which cost $ .20 without a plan. I do have a texting plan and both phones are obviously SMS-enabled. My question is, since I'm on a plan and Canada is included in Verizon's network/service, is it costing me more than normal to receive/send text messages from her?
Characteristics
- Canada to America and vice versa
- High Priority
- Text messaging included with plan
Thank you for any input.

International text to Canada & Mexico are billed at the same rate if you have a text package. (If you are pay-as-you-go they are higher, however)
Priority does not effect billing but would annoy me if every message was sent as high or urgent :p
