My Blackberry Pearl only rings for 18 seconds and then goes to voicemail, hardly enough time to hop out of bed and catch the phone. Is there anyway I can extend this?

no, not that I know of. Every phone on the network rings the same length before going to voicemail. My only suggestion is to yet calling customer care and are what they can do.

Yeah, i've always wished you could control how long your phone rings for.

I wonder how hard it would be for a carrier to allow a customer to set the number of rings till voicemail.

Customer Care or Tech Care @ T-Mobile can change the number of times your phone rings. but you have to call in to request it.
