if this happens i will be VERY mad! i paid $200 just to leave tmobile about 6 months ago, only to find out that they are coming back to me? OHHHHH NOOOO!

honestly what is the point? they are 2 different technologies in the first place . and if somehow everything gets converted to GSM, i will leave faster that the blink of an eye! I really hope sprint stays true to itself

and the talk of purchase cant be because of the number of customers because sprint has more customers than tmobile.

ahhh just go buy sprint people the service is fine!

First of all, not T-Mobile but Deutsche Telekom.
Second of all, it will be Acquisition, not a merge. So even if DT buys it out, Sprint will stay with CDMA.

Which is sad imo cos GSM's better icon_razz.gif

Why do you want to start this argument again here, it's been had everywhere already. GSM is better if you are a world traveler, but the technology is no better then CDMA. In fact it is slightly inferior, it's saving grace is the chips are cheaper to produce, and the rest of the world is using it.

And for all involved, it would be better for Alltel to buy Sprint then TMobile Poland/DT.

Sprint isn't going to back out. they are on the verge of the first 4g network in america. and now they are backed by clearwire, intel, and google. two of those companies along with sprint are industry innovators as well as titans in thier respective fields. wimax is going to be huge for sprint. now is actually the best time to invest in sprint stock.

lol

Oh and iowa, now is the best time to buy Sprint stock, they are most likely to go up, whether on their own, or because they get bought, anytime a company is bought it's stock rises. As for the Clearwire venture, they are spinning off a new company for WiMax, so that wouldn't impede an imminent purchase.
