Hello everyone,
I'm new here as well as I'm new to the world of cell phones.
I have a Nokia 6265 and I need to install a clock that I can see. I've found several. I have a flash clock that would work great and there is also an application clock.
I have these on my PC and I have the cable and Nokia PC Suite. But when I try to use the Install Programs function, the cell is not connected. I can move and backup files, but not install.
Also, the flash file is not recognized.
Can someone give me a hand with this. I imagine this is simple, at least I hope it is. Thank you for taking your time to answer.
All the best to you,
Glen

Just one more thing. Do I need to install a flash program to be able to use the flash swf files of clocks? or does the cell phone already come with flash. If it does come with flash, how do I activate the flash file so that I can see the clock?
Thank you all for helping. I really appreciate it.

Hey Glen,
Have you read the manual that came with the phone?
It might have stated regarding this problem, and how to go about troubleshooting it.

Thank you Bill for your answer.
Yes, I've read thru the manual but haven't found anything that helps. It says in the manual that the cable and program, Nokia PC Suite should work with this model phone and it does. for some things, but not for installing programs.
Does anyone have any idea as to what I can do? I tried installing by just double clicking on the jar file but it seems that nothing happens.
Any advice or help would be super appreciated.
All the best,
Glen

Just one other thing. Between the Nokia site (and the phone manual) and the service provider, they kind of send you back and forth.
If you have problem contact your service provider. And the other one says, if you have problems, contact you cell phone manufacture.
So, I'm stuck for now. I need to find someone who has some knowledge about this situation as no one around here seems to know anything.
Thank you for listening and taking the time to read this. Hope to hear from you soon.
All the best,
Glen

I just found and installed a program called Nokia Diego. Anybody know how to use it? All I need to do is to be able to install a simple clock, either the flash version or the .jar program.
Any ideas?
Tks for the help.

Can Anyone help with some advice about fixing this problem I am having with my Nokia 6265? I just need to install a clock so I can read the time without having to put my glasses on.
Which setting do I need to change to be able to do this?
Thanks for the help.
