before our marriage my husband and I had area codes from different states (California and Idaho), now we would like to join them in a family plan, and I know that some people are able to do this, but are told that we can not. Can anyone help us with information on this?

i don't think they'll allow this, something to do with market areas. they wouldn't let me do it.had to give up my old number to get a family plan, but this was a while ago so maybe they changed their policy?

If your husband and you have Idaho and California area codes, you guys WOULD be able to share a family talk plan because you guys are in the same market. Which is PAC (we support California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, and rarely Oregon.) Which is all in the same market.
Trust me.
