what are the differing "market areas" for ATT, will they open up so my husband and I can be on a family plan?

the "market areas" are cross referenced between zip codes and geographic areas. at present you have to be in the same market.so one will have to give up his /her number to have a family plan

AT&T is currently migrating all of their markets nationwide to one billing system (as opposed to two majors and a couple of others from recent purchases).
I'd guess sometime in 2009 cross market activations will be possible (business accounts are already able to do this).
