I currently have AT&T and have many issues with it.
We have 4 phones on our account in 4 different places.
the first phone we are located in Kansas city so i get good coverage for the most part except when i go into some building like wal mart and stuff.
The other phone is in se kansas rural area called neodesha and they have terrible problems with it. maybe 1 bar inside sometimes not even that. But then they bought an external antenna for the phone and it helped some but still not great.
The phones we are concerned about are above. We need better coverage in buildings and a provider with better coverage in neodesha, ks. AT&T claimed they have a tower 3 miles away from the location of the phone yet signal is horrible.
We have had t-mobile at one point as well and it was a little better but not allot.
Someone please help us. we are tired of paying for phone service that we cant use

I would look for Alltel first, followed by Verizon. Sprint's coverage map for Neodesha says information not available, while it is surrounded in roaming, that leads me to believe that there is CDMA coverage in the area, but Sprint wouldn't be your best choice. Since Alltel is largely a rural provider, that is why I recommend them first, but if they are not available, then Verizon would likely be a strong choice. You've already had the GSM carriers and they do not seem to be working for you.

IS CDMA any better then GSM? I mean i prefer GSM so i dont have to use the phone dedicated for that service i can just get an unlocked phone and use any i want.

Thing is, you've already tried the GSM carriers in the area, so that cannot be the answer, unless you want to wait for coverage.
