I have never been able to change the ringtone. When I go through the menu process the phone acknowledges my selection, saves it, and plays it as a default tone everytime I return to the ringtone menu. However, whenever a call comes in from any source, the same Funky Jazz ringtone plays. I have tried rebooting with battery out.

A friend of mine has the same problem with his LG CE110. I bluetoothed him several mp3 ringtones and he can listen to them from the ringtone list but when he saves them as his ringtone and then tries it, it goes back to his default ringtone.

LG Tech Support told me to change all 6 Groups in Contacts to the same ring tone as my general ringtone selection. It worked.
