How do I "unlock" my LG VX8350 to sync via Bluetoo

I want to connect my LG VX8350 to my MacBook via Bluetooth. How do I do this? The guy at the store hinted that I could "unlock" it, but I can't find any instructions online on how to do this.

You can thether your cellphone to your laptop via bluetooth using #777 send.but make sure you are paying for the data

sorry, you won't be able to unless you have hack programs and know A LOT about the cell phone OS
