no you can use almost any bluetooth, just make sure that it is the right bluetooth [there's 2 versions i think, one is the more primal version and the other one is a higher quality one used in more recent phones] just look on the specs for your phone and see which bluetooth it supports and buy a bluetooth dongle that is the same version of bluetooth

it's not dongle of higher quality, reread the post. there are two versions of bluetooth on phones, one is a lower older version and the other is a newer version.
