I want to rip my DVDs to AVI and WMV formats. I used a few ones available but have not got the required satisfaction that one must get. Some are either slow and the other ones have quality defects. I know that there may not be a total solution for this but can I get a one that has a better performance….the ones which you have been using and works well.
Thanks a lot!

i prefer Nidesoft for its clear converting image and fast speed. The most important thing is that it is easy to use, especially for beginners. If you are interested, you can see its sites and make further comparison.

Personally I use Nero, but in my experience it's a bit unwieldy. Sometimes I rip the DVD to Nero's or someone's video format and use AlltoAVI to convert it to AVI, which helps with some of the less common formats like OGG and MKV.
