How do i set an MP3 song as a ringtone on my Motorola Razr?
I am using Motorola Phone Tools. I know how to crop and transfer the songs over onto my phone, but when i transfer them over, I do not have the "Apply As" option. Help?

I too have the same problem. I have the razr2 V9m. I am on my 2nd phone. My first one I was allowed to apply ringtones that I had made with MPT. I went to put my memory card in the new one I got and it would not let me apply them. I contacted my carrier, Alltel, and they told me that the company has disabled that feature. I am guessing that it is so you purchase their tones from their shop. Looks like more carriers are starting to do that too. I have been all over the internet looking for some kind of unlock thing for that feature, but I can't find anytning. Sorry I couldn't help, but hopefully I was able to answer the WHY part of your question.
