I just bought a unlocked euro Shine KE770 (900/1800/1900mhz) for my daughter's grad present. I must say this is a way cool phone, But after putting her sim into the LG I get 0 signal. We have AT&T service and thought its just plug and play. Did I get hosed or is there a way to config the LG to work here in the US on AT&T service. I've been on a few sites like ATTs and their menu setups to get to the network settings are completely different. Please advise. I've spent hours and hours researching this issue and have found nothing. If I had any hair to pull out it would be long gone by now. This is the first unlocked phone I've ever bought and feel like an idiot.

take your question over to the LG forum.in all likelyhood all you need is the ATT flash or software update

Yes, I, too, noticed that the 850 band wasn't listed in the bands that the phone is capable of. It won't work on AT&T's USA system.

This confusion is common. An online retailer once sold me a V3x that neither I nor the retailer were aware that the phone didn't have the 850 band.
