Hey everyone, i am going to buy the Samsung glyde online (dont try and talk me out of it i have been researching it online and i even went to the store to check it out) but i was wondering if when i get it in the mail if there is anything i have to do to activate it or is it all preactivated?

just read the "Read First!" paper that come with it. you'll need to call a number to accept terms & conditions and also program the phone. enjoy the new phone!

ok cool, one more question i went into the store to check it out one last time and they said i wasnt eligible for a upgrade but the website says Verizon customers can upgrade at anytime by paying the full retail price, so if i buy the phone online will i be able to set it up so it works or will it be useless until i am eligible for an upgrade?

You can purchase the phone at full retail online and have no issues activating it. Call customer service if there are troubles getting it activated, but it's pretty much a straight-forward one-path process.
