Hello folks! I have an LG VX8300 through Verizon.
Today I was out doing some yardwork when I got some water on my pants. I quickly too my phone out and took the battery out in an instant as to relieve myself of any problems. Sure enough though, the phone went mental. I let it dry out, took out the rubbing alchohol and a toothbrush and went to work.
It's now out of -Car Kit- mode. I can hear sounds and hear the caller, however, I can't talk unless I have the headset plugged in. Regardless, the sounds work, I can hear either way, and I can still talk (but with only the headset plugged in). If anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Jake

Chop it up and call for a replacement or go to store.

or. you can check out one of the many threads this forum has with tricks people have had work for them. here's my personal favorite, the LG-6000 mega-thread: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic19157.html
but in reality, it's a pretty slim chance to bring it back. good luck
