Hmmm. kinda slippy. Let me know if this helps or is off tangent of what your needing. There's not much of an explination of how the software works via phone keys. Sorry if I'm not much help, Maybe if someone else that sees this thread might be able to help out. In any case, I'll try my best to help resolve.

JayElectrics,
I've never had your model of phone but I found the manual in PDF format here:
<the link>
I am going to try and find you an answer about your button sequence dillema.
Thank you, I've got the manual but it doesn't say. They do not even admit that it is possible to connect with PC. I used to connect it before, but unfortunatelly I don't remember now.

Well done RavenStar, you are a Star!
I was using the old PIMs 1.0 and that for some reason did not work on my XP SP1. So, as you have sent me manual for PIMS 2.0 (downloaded from Samsung's website) I also downloaded the version 2.0. And now the conclusion. This version is somehow locked to COM4, but I used the manual port setting in: My Computer/Hardware/Device Manager/Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port/Properties/Port Settings/Advanced. Changed the port to COM4 and forced it over the warning that it is in use.
After restarting the PIMS 2.0 Studio, I kept pressing the Left soft key and it connected and downloaded all the stuff.
