My contract for AT&T is coming up in a month. I run my own business, so I'm looking into a Smartphone or PDA. I love the iPhone; but have contacted AT&T about their packages, and they are just too high.
Sprint offers a family unlimited plan (unlimited minutes, data, messaging, etc.) for $99 per line or for my self and my husband $198 a month (plus taxes of course).
AT&T offers a similar package for families. Unlimited minutes, messaging, data, etc. on 2 lines is $270 before taxes.
This is a difference of $864 a year or $1728 over the course of the contract.
Right now, we have unlimited messaging and nights and weekends starting at 7 (of which we pay $16.99 a month extra for. Sprint starts at 7 pm) and our bill is around $125 a month. I'm willing to pay an extra $75 a month for everything so I always know what my bill is going to be, and never have to worry about going over. But an extra $145 seems to be a little much.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or opinions?
Thanks

Well as u can tell, AT&T is ridiculously over-priced. Sprint staarts you off at 7PM nights while you are paying an extra 17$ for then with at&t . thats insane and not even worth it.
plus if you go with the unlimited everything plan, look how much you'd save with sprint!
i would check sprint's coverage in your area first just to make sure this switch is the right way to go, but if your're in a sprint coverage area, i say go for it

i agree, ATT and Verizon are two of the most expensive rate plans, but the good thing is the Rollover. You might pay more, but by going to Sprint, you might trade off the reception for price. My sense is, if its not broken, dont fix it. My friend had Sprint and his reception was very dodgy.
