My contract is up for renewal soon and I am considering the Blackberry Curve as I heard that the T-Mobile Dash has had some issues with the screens cracking easily.

My questions are:

-AT&T has the BB Curve for $99, Tmoblie is $150. Is it likely that Tmobile will price match?

-Is it possible to get the $9.99 Email service only on the BB plan and just use WiFi to connect to the Internet?

-Do they do any blocking of WiFi services on the phone unless you get the BB unlimited add on plan for $19.99?

Thanks

in stores probably not be able to price match but maybe calling customer care they might be able to.

yes u can just add 9.99 for email only and just jump on wifi if u have one around for the internet there's no blocking of wifi if u dont subscribe to the bb internet

Thanks. One additional question as well.

With the $9.99 email only plan, can I use my Gmail account?

Price match is a no. Both carriers offer a curve, but each curve has different features. I attempted to do the same and had no luck.

The email plan will give you access to gmail.

If I purchase a Blackberry Curve without any data plan, can I still access my Gmail account whenever I am near a WiFi connection?
