Hi all

I want to get AT&T's Media Net unlimited option for their GoPhone/pay as you go prepaid service - even though no mentionning on their website, this unlimited data-service supposedly is available for $ 19.95/month via 611.

I have an unlocked SonyEricsson w810i (GPRS, EDGE ok; but UMTS not supported) with Opera Mini installed: it's crucial that i can access all the internet using Media Net.

How is the GPRS-coverage in greater NYC? Can I generally expect it to work indoors in Manhattan/Brooklyn?

What if there is no GPRS available but just basic GSM-coverage. Can i still use flat-priced Media Net unlimited with basic&ultra slow GSM-connection?

Thanks a lot!

Is it true, that the medi net unlimited feature for $ 20 on at&t's go phone is only available when you opt for the 10 ct/minute plus 1$ daily fee (not 25 ct/minute only)?

I read this on some bloggs - can anyone confirm this?

thanks
