If it's a four to six digit number then text that number the message "stop" and it should stop the charges. Do you know the number that you, sorry, that sombody signed you up for?

Does it appear like a normal phone number?

I believe you must've tried to text them the single-word STOP incorrectly, because if you had successfully sent it then you would've received a confirmation message. Unless your subscription with them has passed by the time you send it, you won't see a final $9.99 charge. The program you're signed up for is Red Circle and they have a few services, you can opt out of their services with either stop, end, quit, cancel, or unsubscribe. One word message, I hope it works. If not then call VZW customer support and their tech support can assist with cancelling the service. Note: customer service will possibly have you try the whole "stop" thing one more time, call on a separate phone.
