I need to add a line for my girlfriend, but what I have now is the myFaves 300 individual plan. Is is possible to change that to a family plan? Will I have to pay another activation fee or extend my contract if I do this?

you may have to extend your contract depending on which family plant select. You will only pay an activation fee if your girlfriend is opening a new line.

I don't believe you have to pay the activation fee because if you are upgrading, a family plan consists of two lines anyway, so you're really just upgrading to a new plan, and given a new sim. Although I could be wrong, but I don't remember having to pay an extra $30 when I added my boyfriend to my upgraded family plan (went from individual to family plan). But then again, my boyfriend's brother owns a cell phone authorized dealer store. icon_shifty.gif

You will be required to pay a $35 activation fee (assuming your a regular account), the new line will require a minimum 1 year contract ( the 2 year contract gets your a free phone, 1 year is mor expensive). Your existing line will only require a contract renewal if the new plan requires a 1 year renewal unless your current contract is less than one year. Hope that helps!
