I just bought a Mini Cooper with a Sony Ericsson HBC-30 Bluetoothkit installed. I also use a Sony Ericsson T650i and thought it would be a piece of cake to use the two togheter. I am the third owner of the car and I don't have a manual for the HBC-30. I found one online, but can't seem to get the two to talk. Do I need a software update on either unit?
Help?

check to make sure that your phone has it's bluetooth activated [menu > settings > connectivity > bluetooth or something of the sort, that's the way to get there with my phones, iono bout yours]
then make sure the kit for your car is on, and use your phone to search for bluetooth devices and you should find your kit.
you might have to put some sort of password to pair the two, just use "0000" or "1234" or something of the sort, i don't think it really matters.
if that doesn't work check your phone's bluetooth version and compare it with the kits.

Hmmm. i've been trying without luck. I'm supposed to activate the bluetooth on my phone (handsfree connectivity), then press "hang up" on the car piece until it beeps? and even tho it flashes red the phone says it cannot find any devices. tips and tricks?
