Is there any way to get this phone to work on edge/3G signals in the US?
also it shows the phone as the c702a on the sony ericsson website but i have not seen whether there will be a north american version released or not.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

from what i can tell [using the try the phone emulator at the sony ericsson website] you will be able to have the phone work on solely GSM or GSM and 3G
look for yourself here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/seethephone/c702 a?cc=us&lc=en then just click "try the phone"

^ oh yeah i forgot to mention, after clicking try the phone, go to menu > settings > connectivity > mobile networks > GSM/3G networks

no im talking about the network. i actually had this phone but could not get it to connect to an internet network. none of the settings would work.

you mean to use your phone to connect to the internet? there should be a function on the sony ericsson website but it's down right now for whatever reason where you click on support > phones then you can chose your phone and get the internet settings to work
