hey guys i'm really new to this, in fact i didn't even know you could do anything like this. here's the story.
i have AT&T wireless service, i had a Razr that broke, and i begrudged paying $350 for a new one from them so i bought one off eBay, a Razr v3xx, when i got it i plugged in my sim card and powered on the phone. when it pops up it says "Vodaphone" where it usually would say "AT&T". this in itself is not an issue, however every time i power up the phone it says "Searching" for network. sometimes it finds "Cingular" sometimes it finds "AT&T". and it keeps hopping networks back in forth all day. what i want is for it to stick to AT&T. from what i've been told, is i have an unlocked phone that was with a UK service provider called Vodaphone, and that i need to "flash the firmware back to AT&T" to make the network hopping stop. if this is correct i need some help doing, if it's not i need to know what to do.
i've been reading other posts and i know i need to hold the * key and the # key and power it up. this is what i see:
Bootloader
02.E3
SW.Version
R26117RK_U_98.
50.11R
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable
so what do i need to do from here? any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

The easiest way is to get your battery fully charge then googel for motorola software update and that will direct you to motorola site the you can down load the update software. Connect you fone to PC and the software will do the rest.
You will get the latest s/w form Tmobile but it will lock you fone back to Tmobile
