I had a Sony w300i phone locked to AT&T and had a hard time finding information on unlocking it. Perhaps there was too much information about getting it flashed or getting a dongle or other code entry methods that did not work. I gave up and paid $10 to a ebay vendor for an unlock code and now its unlocked. They just need your IMEI. It was very simple.

but yes this is a 3rd party remote unlock.

^ same idea, you can do the same thing.

OR you can do it yourself, patch unlock - se-nse.net has info about this.

^ use xs++, connect the phone and click on the gdfs tab, there should be one that says phone lock and allows you to find the lock.

xs++ is a free program, search it and download it.
