For making games based on the JAVA (J2ME) platform, you need to know the ins and outs of Core as well as Advanced JAVA in a thorough way. You can easily at home via web based interactive tutorials or else enrol yourself at the nearest computer academy. Making J2ME games isn't that difficult. In fact, I will be launching a few games co-developed with my friend in January.

Well, here's a link which wasn't that hard to find here, if its tutorials stink, then at least it might have a few good links. Probably I'll have a problem of making the graphics. But probably my first games'll be "256 color friendly" which demands the least effort in graphics development, coz I'm not a Renoir... (Picasso was just a retarded lil fellow with lots of paint to spill on paper (and they're paying thousands of bux for those toilet papers! ))

The tutorial is pretty average and can only help you to make the most basic games.
