ok, so i finally bought the T610, and im currently charging it for the 1st time...but its been going on for about 8 hours now and on the screen, it still shows "charging"...but in the manual, it says that cahrging time is about 4hours...is this normal?

your first charge can take up to 16 hours. DONT take it off charge until it is finished.

is it bad if i turned it on even if it was still charging? (i didnt take it off the plug though)

Thats absolutely ok. u can do whatever u want, just dont pull out the plug

Errmm - what happens if u pull out the plug after about an hour and then use the phone and then charge it again for another 5 hours or so - the first time u charge it???

It's all ok ... but to get the most out of your batterys life you should charge it 16hours first time... and then not charge the phone untill the battry is all empty.. .. this way it will last long long!

it always say charging.. but the battery icon already stopped moving.. does this mean that it is already fully charge? i did not charge it for 16 hrs coz i didnt know about it? should i get a new battery now?

The batteries for cell phones DO NOT have a memory. Therefore, it does not matter when you charge it or if you let it discharge all the way before charging.
Also, when it charges, it can say charging, but once the battery shows full, it is done charging.
