I just added 2 new lines to my account on June 22.
I am still in the 30 day period.
1. Will ATT let me turn in the phones I have right now to get $199 Iphones?
Plus.
2. Do I have to have the credit card I purchased the phones on with me to get the refund? or can they transfer the balance toward Iphone's Price? its my wife's card. 
Plus.
3. Do I have to have the Iphone data Plan? <--googled it, didnt find an exact answer!
SO three questions, looking for three answers!

1. yes. you can exchange if you wish
2. not sure but have her and the card with you
3. you have to have a data plan

Other than entering them by hand or re-sending them to the iPhone, there's no way to transfer old text messages to and from an iPhone.
