So, basic goal: mp3 file on my computer to ringtone on my EnV. I can get the mp3 onto my phone with Bluetooth, no problem. However, it's in the sounds folder, which seems worthless.
I hear if you e-mail to your vtext address, you can download it as an attachment, however it always says "attachment(s) removed". Even after I whittled down the file to under 64kb and converted it to midi, it still gets removed. Any ideas?

How are you converting it to midi? Basically, all you have to do is take the sized down mp3 and rename the file as .mid instead of .mp3 . To do that, though, you have to change a setting in windows. Don't convert it with a midi converter.

That did it. I was under the impression that it had to be a wav or mp3, but saving it as a midi worked like a charm. Thanks!
