I have a family plan, and I want to renew the current contract and change my phone to a LG vx9700 Dare. I called the Verizon store, and they said that it was $300 with a $50 rebate. Isn't is supposed to be $250 with $50 rebate, or is that just for a new contract? Also, do I get a discount if I basically served the two year agreement (the New Two thing or whatever)?
I am a secondary line, not the primary.

Secondary lines don't get the New Every Two discount. If you are eligible for upgrade then the phone will come to $199.99 plus taxes, after rebate $50. Try to order the phone online, instant rebates are issued that way, and the price won't be messed up since it won't be a person mis-quoting you.

Actually, i just bought it. I am a secondary line, but the New Every Two discount worked for me probably because my line was the most expensive one (in a sense).
