so, i have text messaging disabled on my verizon phone, but i am still able to go onto the web with it.
I guess my friends have been texting me, and not getting a "unable to send" or something.
I was wondering if there was some way (a website, etc.) that I could read my "recieved" text messages online, via my computer?

If you sign into your account at vzw.com you can use the vtext and carry conversations that way, but it will count against your messaging plan. You actually don't have to sign in to use the website for messaging, but then your buddies won't have an address to send you messages at and you'll the website is kinda tedious to message quickly with. And you may have to remove the block for your text plan.

that didn't really answer my question, probably because i didn't pose it correctly.
what i want to know is: can i read text messages sent to me (either a couple days ago, or a month ago.), even though my text message feature is blocked, through some website. i dont necessarily want to use the website for texting, i just want to read past texts that have been sent to me that i cannot read on my phone (because the text feature is blocked.)

Gotcha, answer is no if you have the block. And if unblocked, all messages within the past 5 days will just start loading onto your phone, so beware. Try this though, not sure if it will work, but have somebody send you a message at your ten-digit number@vzwpix.com. Then try checking the message at vzw.com, pictures & video tab, manage your photo album. If it has the message there then success. I still think it will fail though with the block.
