My 13 year old niece received a 2nd hand T-Mobile Sidekick iD. No user manual, accessories or anything useful. She wants to connect it to the pc in order to download music.
I haven't been able to locate the user guide or information about connecting the data cable to a pc.
My question is this:
1. Is it possible to do so?
2. What port is used to connect?
3. What type of cable is used to accomplish this.
Be kind in your reply. If it's a duplicate posting I wasn't able to find an answer here. Thanks for the help.

It uses a micro usb cable to connect. I am not sure if the id has a music player on it. the manual can be found at poweredbydanger.com or support.t-mobile.com. there is no installation cd. just connect to the pc and you should be ok if the sidekick id allows a pc connection (it may not)

Last night I happened to be standing line at the grocers and noticed a young lady with the same Sidekick iD. So I asked her how she downloaded music and she told me that it has to be done via the Catalog.
So you were correct that it doesn't allow synching to the pc. Thanks for your reply.
