Ok it just started granted but starting July 18th every one on the t-mobile network can block text, picture, instant messages, and email that is free. There is also the ability of Adding Family Allowances for 2.00 a month so you can control your other lines. How many min they can use who they can and can't call, How many text they can do, If they can download or not. All of these things are controlable with family allowances.

I suppose that I will be an unpopular guy around here for mentioning that I've been with AT&T/Cingular/Bellsouth Mobility for over 10 years and I have yet to ever receive an unwanted text message.
Ever.

I have been with T-mobile for 5 years and have never received a marketing message. Unwanted text yes. But over these years I have had several different numbers and it seems that when I have a recycled number I have received texts from unknown people. At that it has been maybe three times total. So perhaps the problem is that. Havng another person's old number that they signed up for something and may even be the reason that they dropped that number.
