so, id like to transfer pics and all from my T610 to my laptop. i know my laptop has an infra red connection, so i tried it, and when pointing the cellphone towards my comp, i established a connection for about 1sec...and now, every time i try, i cant do anything.
so what should i do? is there some special setting to enable? how should i point the phone? what distance? etc.
thanks a lot

What's going on bud? You know what? Forget about IrDA. It sucks anyway. Get a Belkin USB BlueTooth Adapter. It works up to 100 meters away frow your Laptop and it only costs about 30 to 40 dollars.
Bluetooth Wireless connection. - Excelent on my T-616 phone. Try a BlueTooth adapter from Belkin. With this adapter you can Synchronize your phone book with Outlook Express, you can Upload/Download/Erase ringtones, pictures & themes.
I am aware I didn't answer your question however I hope I have helped you in a better choice.

Through winxp you can easily upload anything on your phone...the thing is that winxp doesn't support downloading images from your phone withour the use of special software...all the programs i have tried though only supported downloading the phonebook and sms messages from the phone...i haven't tried the software from ericsson provided for your model though..it might worth a try...

anyone know of a program to use to be able to download pics from my phone???
and if i use bluetooth, will i be able to download my pics?
edit: ok, so i tried the sonyericsson image editor and finally it worked and recognized the phone, but i can still only upload pics from my comp to my phone...i soooo want to download my pics to my comp...

If you cannot download from the sony ericsson software you can't do it at all....you could try to mail them to yourself and download it through the internet...

Just in case.
You have to use your phone to transfer items TO the computer.
But is it possible to send games?
Also, on the minigolf game on the T610, how can you change the course? It has puzzled me for many days.

You cannot send games via IR from phone to phone. However it is possible from pc to phone.
