Hey.
I've always had regular, typical flip phones. My new every 2 is up and I want to try something different. I'm having a hard time though, because it's like every high priced phone is a touch screen. I don't think I like this.
For one. I carry my phone in my pocket. I don't want to have to be careful when I set my phone on a desk. I'd like to just drop it there. I don't buy expensive stuff if I think I'm going to break it. Obviously, flip phones protect the screen and keys so I don't have to worry about much.
But I'm wondering, are touch screens that fragile? My sister's chocolate screen when bad just from being in her purse. I'd rather not add bulk to my phone with a case. Will the touch screen get scratched or damaged just from being in my pocket? Possibly banging up against a wall, or inside my car, or from keys in my pocket, etc
I'm looking at other phones, but I wanted to know if touch screens require me to care about the phone's well being. I can't have a phone that won't take a beating or two (or in case of my current phone, up to 10 beatings).
thanks!

Yes, you will want to be more careful if you have a touch-screen phone. Try to find covers to purchase at sites like amazon.com, and also remember you can lock your phone so that it won't press buttons constantly while in your pocket. If you need a phone to take a beating then get the Gz0ne phone, they are more built to endure.

Sounds like a good decision. And yes, the Gz0ne would be so much better if it just had the appeal of the other fancy phones.
