i was wondering if anyone can help me out.
how do i delete a Sprint provided browser (which is default) from Samsung m510 phone?
I deleted Opera very easily, how do i do it with the default one?

It might be on the ROM. If it is, you can't delete it.

what is a ROM? read only memory?
i do not think so. it must be on the cell's hard drive.

Yes, Read Only Memory. Since It's Sprint's Browser, it might be in the ROM part of your phones memory. All devices I've dealt with have a user memory and a ROM memory (hard drive). The things in user memory (RAM) can be deleted. The things in ROM cannot. My phone has some programs that are there and can't be deleted. I tried and researched this too and found that since they are in the ROM part of my phone's memory, I can't get rid of them.
