This is my problem. I have been a customer of Sprints for about 7 years or so. I have always maintained 2 lines, and recently added a 3rd. The 3rd is the Instinct, with the 99.99 SE Plan. The 2nd is 450 minutes for about 39.99 to 49.99, i forget, the the first is a blackberry, also with the unlimited SE Plan. Yesterday, I decided to write and ask for a 'Loyalty Discount'. I was denied. First I was told it was because I had a SE Plan, and needed that removed first.- Next I was told that the system would not allow it to apply any discounts to the SE Plans, then finally was told that Sprint no longer offered the 'Loyalty Discount'.
What gives?
I can tell you as a sprint supervisor that the simply everything plan will not allow us to put discounts on it because its 30-40 dollars cheaper than the competition and it would me crazy for us to lose money on a plan that already blows the comptetion out of the water. I understand you've been with sprint for seven years and it is greatly appreciated, but there is really nothing anyone can do on the matter due to your choice of plan. If you were on a different plan rather than the simply everything, 10-15% would be given with no 2nd thought needed. But, in the same breath, if you did change your plan just to take the 15% off, you'd probably be paying way more than you are now just to have the same features.
Regrettably,
VallejoSprint

I have a family plan. I upgraded my phone and was told that this would extend my contract. I agreed. But I just found out that this split my phone numbers and if I cancel service that I will be billed a 200 ETF for both lines. totaling 400 dollars. I think that I have been misled and now want out of my contract w/o any fees for sprint violating their end of the contract by not disclosing that they were splitting my numbers/contract.
Does anyone have any experience with this and can you tell me if sprint did violate my rights. Shouldn't I be allowed to cancel w/o penalty because of this or shouldn't I just have to pay one termination fee because I signed up for a family plan that included two lines, not two lines.
Wow you really need to learn what your doing. sprint didn't violate anything. the etf applies to both lines on the account, and any other lines you may add. every carrier does this. it is obvious you have never had a family plan before.

I have had many plans prior to this and yes this is my first Family Plan. With that said, Sprint never explained that I was under two contracts though I was applying for one family plan. If you don't see my confusion then you are not opened minded and just another supervisor/employee that thinks the public is aware of every ruse that is being spun on unsuspectingly. I was never informed of this and feel that I have ben misled. In your mind I have not and for that response i can find hundreds that will agree with me. This is very deceptive. How does one plan mean that I am somehow now under two contracts because I upgraded one phone? That makes no sense. Also, being a supervisor myself, you're opening line suprises me and if this is what you thought than you should learn to keep those types of comments to yourself and just answer in a professional manner.
I Do not work for sprint, and i live in america. i am entitled to my free speech. secondly, it is your due diligence to read ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING you sign. if you did not, that is your fault, and no one elses.

I live in america also and you're and idiot. That is my Freedom of Speech. You have provided no useful information. Thanks for nothing. I don't know why you are posting yourself as a Sprint Supervisor if you don't even work for Sprint. Last Post on this matter.

if u have 2 phones on your account, you will pay double the ETF. Its known.
When in ANY of my posts did i suggest i was a sprint supervisor? once again your reading skills are lacking. and Who's the idiot, someone who doesn't understand something completely before he signs it or someone who actually takes 5 minutes out of his life to know what he's getting into.

Hi
This dialog is unfortunate it really takes away from any sense of earnestness I had associated with iowa's posts. Perhaps iowa knows the person who sought answers here but to me a newcomer, it appears iowa was insulting from start and would really do his/her image a service by apologizing!
I am one of many, not trained in legalese. I know the reason for setting so many words, clauses, provisions and etc. in a contract is to garner an advantage over the other party to the contract. I and I think most persons entering into these contracts with cellphone and/or many other corporations, organizations, clubs, employment releases and etc. do not take the time to read every word of the contracts we sign. In fact, even if we did read . . . who among us truly understands everything included therein?
If I am a nitwit in anyone's opinion because I admit this fact of life, to post telling me, what one thinks I am, does not help me to grow nor does it do much to bump-up anyone's intelligence quotient. However, to the extent one clarifies and assist my understanding by clearly expressing the pertinent answer to my query, one brings about growth and development.
Iowa, you've posted a lot, I bet you're up to boosting your image, therefore I bet I'll see an appropriate post subsequent to this.
Yeah i try to help all i can but people who instantly place blame for something they did wrong gets under my skin. call it a character flaw, but the one thing that is consistent with my posts is i am brutally honest. i tell it like it is and i dont like people cheating people or companies out of money.
