I'm just new in this forum. I found this in google while I'm checking sprint related topics. I could be of help at any times if you have any questions or problems regarding your sprint/nextel account. I can't promise a response right away to e-mails or posts being sent to me nor I can't promise to give call backs to customers who needs to speak with a supervisor cause I'm also taking other supervisor calls. But if you may please send me your questions/issues I'd be more than happy to assist you and we'll see what we can do.

First of all thanks for the generous offer to answer some of our questions about the services for Sprint.
We are actually current AT&T customers but my husbands new job as a DBA has placed him in an office where he has no cell phone service with AT&T. However, other employees have service with Sprint because of a repeater that is located in the building - they have not put one in for AT&T.
In any case we are considering changing providers but would like to keep not just our phone numbers but our existing phones as well.
He has an LG CU320 and I have a Motorola V9 - both are unlocked.
Can you tell me if these phones will work with Sprint's network?
Thanks

Good afternoon, i do apologize but we can't get those phones activated with sprint's network, you have to purchase sprint phones, however, you may keep the numbers you have with AT&T but please be adviced that once you do that, the normal provisioning time would be 72 hours. the reason behind it, is that, we would still be waiting for a confirmation from AT&T. but most of the time it takes even before 72 hours to get your number activated with your sprint account.
as a new customer, we actually offer phones with discounts, you may check that at our website and you'll see there the price of the phones, if there are mail in rebates, etc. if you have further questions, feel free to reply here. have a great day.

For the slightly more technical reason why you cannot use your old phones. At&t uses GSM technology requiring sim cards to operate. Sprint uses CDMA technology which does not. Nutshell, they use different technologies, so there is no way to make them work.

Hey, I'm new here.
I just got an upgrade for a Diamond Touch and haven't actually received the handset yet. I'll be getting it in a couple of days.
My question is will I be able to take it to a corporate store and exchange it for the Touch Pro by paying the price difference 599.99 - 549.99 = 50.00? Or is it different than new customers contract when exchanging an unwanted handset?
EDIT: Also, it wasn't supposed to be an upgrade actually, but I guess the CSR's that kept trying to fix the order (kept being canceled since oct/20th - nov/14) were only able to do it that way. The only problem that I'm sensing about this is loosing my old handset. I paid $200 for this back in 2006 and I don't think I'd like to give sprint a handset that they haven't even given me a $150 rebate for either.
So. will they send me a bag asking for the old handset?

If You did it through telesales you have to exchange through telesales. nice choice on the phone though. i'll be getting one after jan when prices fall and my rebate kicks in.
