Is it normal for a Palm Centro to creak and squeak as you type on it or use it?
The battery cover doesn't seem to fit properly or something. I plan on getting a hard case for it eventually which I guess fixes the issue but I want to know if it is normal?
Palm said they haven't heard of creaking handsets.and gave me a ID number for free service.but I don't know if I want to wait for it.

Yes I know exactly what you are talking about, it just feels like it was cheaply made and put together (which it was). I went from a treo to the centro for the smaller and lighter phone and I guess that is one of the tradeoffs

Nah it doesn't feel cheap except for the battery cover. The phone still has a lot of weight to it which I like and call me crazy but I like having a heavy and thick phone.I tend to stick my phone in my pocket while driving and half way through the ride, because my phones have always been small, have fallen out of my pocket and under my car seat.haha.so the added thickness and weight is nice for me.
