HI.
i have a question. right now i use sony ericsson k 510i. but i have problems with text messages' memory. the phone can save only limited amount of text messages, so it always displays "your text message memory is full, please delete some messages".
what about other sony ericsson phones? do they have the same problem? or do they have unlimited memory for text messages?
please help :)
thanks in advance

all phones have a limited memory for text messaging, the only way to change it is to use a program like xs++ or far manager and play with the phone settings.

I experienced something similar and thought I would relay it, and what seems to have fixed it:

State:
Phone would start complaining about "sms memory over 95% full" although I only had an approximate total of 10-20 messages. And formerly it has been able to handle at least >100 before claiming to be full.

I think what caused my problem might have been text message backup & deleting using wammu, but I am unsure.

Looking at "Memory status" [Menu>File Manager>>More>Memory status] I noticed that In the massage section I had an empty email of 2kb, which seemed to refuse deletion ("recreated" after deleting)
A strange thing since I do not use email whatsoever on this phone.

My solution:
To get rid of this "email", what I did was to create a new email profile, delete the email again, and do a send & receive (without connecting properly), and then deleting the email profile.

This seems to have rid the phone of the odd email, and also of the notion that it's memory was stuffed full.
