hi guys. been reading a bit on this forum looks like some great information and helpful. i just came across a tmobile razr from a friend and am trying to use it with an att sim card. stuck it in and asked me for a subsidy password and frustrated i tried a bunch of codes until i finally got the call service provider.
i have researched a bunch and have rsd lite and am preparing to unlock the phone by going down a bootloader version but i cannot get the rsd to see the phone. the comp recognizes it as soon as it is plugged into the USB but the motorola software does not. can anyone suggest anything? the girl said the phone worked fine last she knew so i don't see why it is having a problem - may it be related to me "double locking" thep hone after guessing a lot of passwords and the prompt changing from "insert subisdy code" to "call service provider"?
thanks ahead of time for the help

Try to use the combination of * + # and the power button together when RSD Lite is on, it worked for me with my V3 Razr, i also had to do it a couple of times, but it did find it.hope this has helped you out.

no sorry that did not help.
also, the phone originally said "enter subsidy code"
i entered the wrong code too many times and now it will only say "contact service provider"
i called motorola and the tech told me to take the battery out for 12 hours and it will go back to "enter subsidy code"
anyone be able to help me i really want to use this phone but it is locked up good and without RSD seeing it i don't know how to fix it!
