so i called Tmobile and had them deactivate my Tmobile Web and had them activate the Total INternet Add on, and she said it would take 24 to 48 hours to activate, its been longer than that, and it's still not taking effect on my iphone, i switched the APN to the internet2 voicestream thing but to no avail.HELP! do u think it takes longer for Tmobile to get it activated? its been about 56 hours since i called them

I don't use an iphone but could there be more than one place that the settings need changed?

well i look online, and people are saying that wap voicestream could work, but thats only for the Tzones internet, which is slow, and there's some people that are saying that the proxy settings might need to be changed, but i dont know how to do that.and so i reset my web settings, and now there's no "E" showing up next to "Tmobile" at the top at all.this is very frustrating!

I have a t-mobile shadow with total internet and it uses the wap.voicestream address and I still have an edge connection no problem. I think that address is just an internet gateway not necessarily only wap style internet.try it and see what happens.

its working for me now.i updated my iphone to 2.0.1, and it restored my phone and restarted it, and i put in the internet2 one, and the "E" showed up, and i can now watch youtube, get my mail, and the internet im getting about 140 KBPS, which is about double the speed of the Tzones.im happy!
