I'm currently available for an upgrade with Verizon Wireless and would like to get a Smartphone or PDA. I'm studying to be a nurse and would like to be able to upload medical terminology and medicine information to the phone. I've read some review online that say the Samsung SGH-i760 is a great choice. I like the external dialing pad and WiFi capability. I'm also contemplating a Blackberry of some sort. I honestly don't know that much about Blackberries, but I've read some really great reviews. I'm not used to the interface. Then there's the Treo and Verizon's phones. Which one would be the best choice for me?

Hi,
I'm also in the medical field and I use a HTC Touch and love it. The keyboard is good, and the interface sync's up well with my outlook mail/contacts/ and calendar.
Good luck,
Harold

It looks like Verizon offers that phone as the XV6900. I've read some good reviews on that phone too. Do you find dialing a hassel because there's no external dialing pad?

I'm also in the medical field & have used blackberries, Palms & HTC. If you can wait 1-3 months I'll let u know which will work best & has the compatibility 2 excel w/ medical research, business & review. I could go on about the down sides I experienced w blackberries, their inability 2 function friendly w windows computers, lack of video capability & does not play well with charging & syncing devices. but I will tell you, the HTC has been amazing & their are many to choose from.
HTC Touch Pro is out in UK & available through web but Very expensive direct. All the cell companies are coming out with it under different names here shortly & price will be a lot better under contracts. It has literally 2-3x the phone memory for normal running of systems & well, google GSMARENA find their site, then read how off the chart it is more like having all the power & ability w memory of a real computer in a touch screen smaller than the iphone & 10x better quality & functionality. it has a slide out keyboard which makes it excellent for quick notes if you ever get tired or feel you'd like to move faster than a touch screen. Holds up to 32g removable microSD as well
Goodluck
