Hello,
I have a few questions about the motherboard I have and how to get my Infrared Port working for my cell phone- Samsung E105. It seems that my infrared port isn't detecting my cell phone and also, I don't know what kind of brand the IR port is though. The motherboard model I have is the MSI-K9N Platinum which comes with an IR port or so I think.
Anyone can help me my IR port working so I can connect it to my cell phone? Thanks in advance.

I found this, hope it helps. I think you may need a program or software from Samsung to have the comp " see" the phone.

Also, Try to see if PIMs 2.0 (software) from Sansung will work for your model phone.

Also, check to see if you have the IR part of your MoBo activated. make sure its active of course when your trying to connect. If not, maybe it needs to be enabled in the BIOS settings. That menu you can access before your OS boots up. Usually by pressing the [esc] key.
